How we train

Swim

Most adults find the swim the hardest part. We start with breathing and technique, and build distance slowly – lengths with rests in between are fine.

Bike

Group rides at a pace where everyone can talk. No one gets dropped. We also practice the basics: gears, mounting and braking safely.

Run

Run–walk intervals that are easy on the joints, like two minutes running and one minute walking. Over the weeks the running parts get longer.

Rest is part of training. After 45 the body needs a bit longer to recover, so we plan easy days and rest days on purpose.
